Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing modern websites while ensuring performance, responsiveness, usability, and technical quality.

The role involves working closely with design, SEO, content, and project management teams to deliver high-quality web experiences and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and web applications.
  • Convert Figma/UI designs into clean, responsive, and functional web pages.
  • Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend technologies.
  • Develop and customize websites using platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, compatibility, and performance issues.
  • Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implement SEO-friendly technical structures and best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, applications, plugins, and services where required.
  • Perform website testing, debugging, quality assurance, and deployment.
  • Maintain existing websites and implement new features and improvements.
  • Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, content teams, and project managers.
  • Follow development standards, version control practices, and documentation processes.
  • Monitor websites after deployment and proactively identify technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first web development.
  • Practical experience with WordPress and at least one ecommerce platform such as Shopify or BigCommerce.
  • Understanding of website performance optimization and technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Git/version control.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of browser compatibility and web standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React.js, Next.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Shopify Liquid or BigCommerce Stencil.
  • Knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
  • Experience with ecommerce websites and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console.
  • Experience working with Figma or other UI/UX design tools.
  • Basic understanding of cloud hosting, DNS, CDN, and deployment processes.
